I am puzzled with MODIS LAI Products "Valid Range" (that is between 0-100) while each data scene obviously contains a lot of pixels above this limit as filled values (that is usually 255 ever for water bodies). So if Valid Range is only between 0-100 then it means that those values above this range are noise!?
This really doesn't make sense to fill the gaps with 255! Please help.
