we need to get mean daily values of Potential Evapo from a GLDAS collection (8 Images per day with more than 12 variables). We came up with this code for masking the air temp, based on recipes we read here, and then averaged all values in a day. The issue is, when we compare our means with GEE mean, we found important differences. We downloaded the time series of Epot with and without mask, and then computed the mean value in Excel, the results of some spots show significative differences. The mean ETpot with negative values from GEE and Excel are quite similar but when we applied the mask both mean values differ…. Any idea why?
