I notice in QGIS (currently using 3.4.2) when connecting to a SQL database it takes a while to load all of the layers as it scans through the database, meaning if I go to select a feature to drag into QGIS I still have to wait until the entire database is loaded. Is there a way of speeding this up? We have quite a few features in our GIS databases which it has to load.
